Hichmont Productions is a not-for-profit media organization which develops media projects in the fields of film, television, radio, and the internet for those with little or no experience in these fields, or with limited access to the equipment and expertise that these undertakings require.
     Started roughly ten years ago by two students, Corey Bakalarski and Matt Tomich, Hichmont Productions has been successful in producing an impressive number of film shorts, features, live and pre-recorded regular programming and special events coverage in the southwestern Pennsylvania area. The organization is geared towards bringing the various media arts to those in high school or college, although Hichmont Productions has expanded into consulting and production services as well for a variety of community groups and volunteer organizations.
     Through a unique partership with Bethel Park Television, a full complement of video production equipment is available for use; other professional relationships are maintained for the various other media arts as well.
