Hichmont Productions
was created by Corey Bakalarski and Matt Tomich when only 12 years old,
when they produced their first show, The MC Show. However, the
pair had virtually grown up with the movie bug, as their earliest movie
idea they can remember, entitled Nightmare on Stevens Street,
they acted out while only in the 3rd grade. These two have grown from
these humble beginnings to a proud list of accomplishments and feature
productions in not only video but also live television, radio, film,
and other multimedia. Today, they each go to separate colleges but they
still continue producing together.
After their first, the M.C. Show, the
pair has produced many full-length motion pictures, including Disco
Dan, Idiot Summer, Special Brew, and Woody, in addition to
three televison shows, including the live, call-in talk show "Midnight
Madness," two years of weekly radio shows, and the live film shorts
"Flick Spacey: Private Eye" and "Composition in Black and White."
Of course, the filmmaking goes on, as does Corey's radio show and all of their other productions. Both would like to encourage you to join them if you are at all interested, because they constantly bring in new people and introduce them to the world of media production. The experience is invaluable. Not a single person has ever been dissatisfied in experiencing the production process. Even if you don't want to act, Hichmont Productions needs crew and production staff. "Just as there have been many people along the way who have helped us, we're always glad to give some of that back too," Corey states.
If there is a movie idea, treatment, script, whatever, that you would like to see turned into a film, or you'd like to be a part of the process, please do not hesitate to call.
Additionally, the staff of Hichmont Productions is available as consultants on both creative and technical aspects of production for your own ideas, in addition to the commerical services we offer.
